Dear Arizona Educators,
The Arizona English Teachers Association, your state affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English, invites you to attend the 2023 Annual Conference. Our conference speakers include keynote speaker Dr. Jamila Lyiscott aka Dr. J, featured scholar Dr. Curtis Acosta, and featured children’s book author Dr. Monica Brown. Additional sessions on literature, reading, and writing for the ELA classroom will be led by Arizona educators. As educators we can align our practices and attitudes to cultivate classrooms that center joy and healing for our students and communities. Let’s come together to celebrate, reflect, and transform!
