Algebra Tiles Day 4 – Making Manipulatives Make Sense

September 28, 2022

Use algebra tiles to investigate how to conceptually solve inequalities, with a focus on why the inequality symbols seem to “flip” when solving inequalities with negative coefficients. (There is no session on Wednesday 9/21/22 because of CRR’s Game Night) Recommended for sixth grade and beyond.

*Anyone can attend, even if you did not attend previous day(s).

**No registration is required. Drop-ins are welcome!

***If possible, please have a physical set of the featured manipulatives available during the session.
