Learn how to apply both explicit and indirect teaching practices to ensure children’s social emotional development. Focus will be placed on the alignment of curriculum with the Social Emotional Standard content area and learning will occur through the use of lecture; small group activities and discussion. Participants will:
• Understand the interconnectedness of the Early Learning Standards content areas
• Apply what we know about children’s behavior to social emotional curriculum development
• Understand the connection between the Early Learning Standards and teacher responsiveness.
