In this module, participants will develop a clear understanding of the meaning of trauma-informed care, learn about resources and systems available to children and families who have experienced trauma, learn about the “ARC Framework” which is an evidence-based model for trauma-informed care in child care and out of school time settings and learn strategies to create trauma-informed care classrooms and decrease challenging behaviors and expulsion/exclusion. Technical assistance is available after attending this training.
