Intro to Infant Toddler Developmental Guidelines (ITDG) – November 2020

This is a 1-hour/credit introductory course on Arizona’s ITDG.

The Infant and Toddler Developmental Guidelines (ITDG) have been developed to provide a framework for all caregivers who may care for children ages birth to 36 months. This 1-hour online course provides an overview of the ITDG and how to use the Guidelines to support infant and toddler development in early care and education settings.

This course meets the Quality First mandatory training requirements for all early childhood lead teachers, directors, assistant directors, and family child care providers.

Registration:

Online courses begin on the 1st day of each month. Registration opens one day prior to the online course start date and closes at 10:00 p.m. on the last day of the month.

AFTER REGISTRATION, IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE COURSE IN YOUR “REGISTERED” COURSE LIST, PLEASE CHECK IN YOUR “ATTENDED” LIST IN EMS (even if you have not yet taken the course).

Certificates:

**In order to receive a certificate, you must pass the course assessment with an 80% or higher. Certificates will be generated at the end of each month, so you will be able to access your certificate on the first day of the following month.**
