Early childhood Directors are at the forefront of setting the standards and expectations for their staff as the state of Arizona is working towards reducing preschool expulsions. In this two-hour module, participants will learn how leadership is one of the strongest predictors of high-quality early childhood programing while also looking at the differences between leadership and management functions. Leadership skills, competencies, and characteristics will be explored while also discussing the importance of recognizing their own individual leadership style. Participants will learn what it takes to be a genuine and effective leader. Technical assistance is available after attendance in this training.
