In this two day workshop we will explore how to design a Gold Standard PBL unit incorporating issues of justice existing in the community. During our first day I will facilitate a PBL slice, where participants experience a PBL mini-unit as a student and reflect on both the student learning process and teacher moves. On the second day, we will review the design process and teachers working alone or in teams will plan for a PBL unit that they can teach next year.
