Social-emotional learning empowers students with abilities that directly impact not only their academic lives but their success and happiness as adults. This course will focus on creating an environment that allows students to feel accepted for who they are and how to express their feelings in a proactive and productive way. We will discuss intentional strategies that can be used daily to build a positive environment and classroom community.
