Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) Trainings

PCHD is excited to share three opportunities for Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) trainings taking place this summer! This incredible program will provide educators valuable knowledge and skills in responding to the complex mental health needs of youth.

This training is being offered for FREE to K-12 teachers and staff members in Pima County. This course may also be considered for up to 8 hours of CEC toward recertification and fulfills the Mitch Warnock Act requirement for 6th-12th grade educators.

Three trainings are scheduled and space is limited:

  • Saturday, June 25th
  • Wednesday, June 29th
  • Thursday, July 21st

Trainings are from 8 am-5 pm and will be held at Abrams Public Health Center (3950 S. Country Club Rd).
