The historic Fox Tucson Theatre originally opened in 1930 as Southern Arizona’s premier movie palace. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and known throughout the U.S. as a theatre of rare beauty, the venue boasts one-of-a-kind Southwestern Art-Deco décor and near perfect acoustics. Each year, tens of thousands of Tucsonans and area visitors attend events at the Fox ranging from big-name music acts to classic films, family and youth programs, community produced events of all kinds, lectures, graduations, and much more.
The Fox is without question one of Tucson’s finest historically preserved landmarks. She is a vibrant, always evolving, cultural treasure standing proudly at the heart of our downtown.
