Arizona Astrobiology Center

Astrobiology is an exciting interdisciplinary field about the origins, evolution and distribution of life in the universe. The Arizona Astrobiology Center will be a hub for diverse scientific endeavors, providing bold and transformative dialogue to make astrobiology discoveries relevant to the experiences of all people on Earth.

Summer 2024 we will be hosting a NASA NextGen 101 Workshop for Southern Arizona teachers:

Grades 6 to 8 educators that serve underserved student populations are invited to apply for this unique opportunity to learn about NASA-specific resources; gain experience implementing activities and the engineering design process; and network with other Southern Arizona educators. A stipend of $300 will be awarded to selected applicants that complete all requirements for the workshop. A limited number of spots are available.

Teachers can apply through April 12th and will be informed of program acceptance by April 26th.
