Maverik Education is owned and operated by Erik M. Francis, an international author, educator, presenter, and professional development producer and provider with over 30 years of expertise in education.

He lives in Arizona with his family and has spent his entire career in Arizona education working as a classroom teacher, site administrator, and education program specialist in the Title I Unit and Office of English Acquisition Services (OELAS) in the Arizona Department of Education. He is extremely familiar with the policies and landscape of the education system throughout the state of Arizona.
Through MAVERIK EDUCATION, Erik provides professional learning services and support based on the ideas, research, strategies and work featured in his books to schools and staff. He has facilitated onsite and virtual workshops with schools and staff throughout the United States and internationally in regions such as Singapore, Malaysia, and the Middle East. He has also been a keynote, featured, and breakout presenter at numerous national, regional, and local conferences and summits hosted by education organizations such as ASCD, Learning Forward, the National Association for Elementary and Secondary Principles (NAESP / NASSP), the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE), the Southern Regional Education Board, the College Board, the the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), and the National Teacher Center.
