The Pima County School Superintendent's Office promotes educational excellence through leadership, service, and collaboration.
The Pima County School Superintendent’s Office promotes educational excellence through leadership, service, and collaboration. The office chooses to serve as an educational service agency, providing robust professional development programs for educators, and serves as administrator for several specialized educational programs that extend beyond the boundaries of individual school districts. Some of these projects are consortium efforts with school districts in the region to ensure that educators and educational leaders are equipped with skills and insight to provide quality instruction and educational environments in which students and teachers can thrive. Other projects are developed in response to federal, state or local agency concerns regarding school-aged children in Pima County. The Pima County School Superintendent’s Office also operates the Pima Accommodation District.
We believe all students can succeed and educational excellence is our top priority. Programs that offer professional learning include The STEMAZing Project, EDvance, GiftED, Healthy and Safe Schools, Business and Education Partnership, CommunityShare, and Resilient Schools.
