AETA Arts and Activism Workshop

Join AETA in downtown Phoenix for an engaging professional development workshop on integrating arts into the ELA classroom! Local artists will lead hands-on sessions exploring performance arts, visual storytelling, zines, and Indigenous futurisms to help educators bring creative activism into their teaching.

Participants will learn from:
🎀 Phonetic Spit – Performance arts and youth storytelling
πŸ“– Wasted Ink Zine Distro – Zines amplifying historically marginalized voices
🎨 Ayling Zulema Dominguez – Visual art and poetry with Indigenous futurisms

Meals and materials will be provided.
