AI Literacy in Action: Building the Habits, Mindsets, and Skills Educators Need (2026)

November 17, 2026

What does it actually mean to be AI literate?

As conversations about artificial intelligence continue to evolve, educators are increasingly being asked to prepare students for an AI-enabled world…but what does it actually mean to be AI literate? In this interactive session, participants will explore authentic classroom, student, and leadership scenarios to identify the knowledge, skills, and dispositions that characterize AI literacy. Drawing on the Arizona AI Guidance and leading AI literacy frameworks, educators will develop a shared understanding of AI literacy and leave with practical ideas for supporting it in their own contexts.

Tuesday, November 17th | 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM
