Ambitious Science Teaching Book Study Meeting #2

Discover powerful strategies to deepen student thinking and engagement in science classrooms. This live-online series, hosted by the Arizona Department of Education, offers K–12 science teachers a collaborative space to explore the core practices in Ambitious Science Teaching and reflect on how to apply them in real-world instruction.

This session is one of four in the series.  Meeting dates for ALL sessions:

  • Tuesday, January 13, 2026 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday, February 10, 2026 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday, March 3, 2026 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday, April 14, 2026 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm

*Is is strongly encouraged for participants must commit to attending all four live online sessions.

*Participants must purchase or acquire a copy of the book Ambitious Science Teaching by Windschitl, Thompson and Braaten (Paperback ISBN: 978-1-68253-162-4)

Credit Hours: 3 hours per session, 12 hours for completing the entire book study
