*This is a two-day professional learning experience, and participants are expected to attend both days in their entirety. Certificates for partial attendance or partial Professional Development hours will not be issued.
Description: Join ADE and Paul Andersen for a two-day workshop that immerses K–8 teachers in three-dimensional science instruction aligned to the Arizona Science Standards. Participants will explore inquiry-based teaching, modeling, argument-driven inquiry, phenomenon-based learning, and the use of Crosscutting Concepts to support student sensemaking. Through hands-on investigations, scientific discourse, and data analysis, teachers will develop strategies for helping students construct evidence-based explanations and leave with practical, classroom-ready tools that inspire curiosity and deepen learning.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided both days
