ASTA 71st Annual Conference

The 71st ASTA Annual Conference, “Cultivating Curiosity:  Empowering Every Learner through 3D Science, Innovation, and STEM”, will be held on Thursday, November 6, and Friday, November 7, at DoubleTree Hilton Hotel in Tempe, AZ..  This professional learning event will bring together more than 300 PreK through post-secondary educators to learn and celebrate science education.

Registration will open July 1st with early bird registration rates!

Thursday the conference will consist of professional development that will help Arizona science teachers implement scientific notebooking with John (Jack) Muir Laws,  principal leader and innovator of the worldwide nature journaling movement. On Friday conference participants will have the opportunity to attend four professional learning sessions focused on one of the three following strands:

On Friday morning, Jack will deliver the keynote address.  ASTA will recognize four outstanding science teachers and an exhibit hall will be open on Friday for attendees to learn about resources to help them teach their scholars.
