In this interactive session, educators will explore the Core Ideas of Knowing and Using Science, one of the three dimensions of the Arizona Science Standards. Participants will engage with the key research documents that informed the development of the AzSS, uncover how the Core Ideas were identified, and examine how they progress across grade bands. The session will highlight how Core Ideas support coherent science learning and foster scientific literacy for all students.
