This workshop is in partnership with Saguaro National Park and focuses on helping teachers develop community science activities to use in their classrooms while increasing access to national parks for you and your students!
Through this workshop you can:
- Visit Saguaro National Park & learn directly from park staff!
- Take home curriculum and activities to use with your classroom!
- Receive a free field trip to Saguaro National Park for you and your students!

Starting location: ITE Urban Field Station, 738 N. 5th Avenue, Tucson, AZ
Site Visit to: Saguaro National Park West (Tucson Mountain District)
*Lunch will be provided for this workshop.
Who can apply? We have limited spots. This PD is open to all public high school teachers. Preference will be given to public high school teachers who have not enrolled in a PD in the past!
This program is made possible by grant funding from the Saguaro National Park and the National Park Foundation.
