This series is brought to you by content specialists at the Arizona Department of Education and the News Literacy Project. Each webinar is 60 minutes long and will include resources, lessons and learning from the News Literacy Project.
About Us
Founded in 2008, the News Literacy Project (NLP) is a nonpartisan education nonprofit that works with educators, school districts and states to ensure students receive news literacy instruction before they graduate from high school. Students gain the knowledge and ability to think critically for themselves and become well-informed members of civic society.
Professional Learning Information
Participating educators will receive one hour of professional learning per session attended (up to three hours).
Participants who attend all three sessions will earn a digital badge.
