This summer, CommunityShare is bringing together PreK-12 educators from across the country for a half-day workshop where they’ll help you transform your ideas into authentic, community-engaged learning experiences that truly engage students.
Together, you’ll explore community partnerships and learn how to design meaningful community-engaged learning experiences that ignite student engagement and build on what you already teach. You’ll leave with:
• A draft or completed community-engaged learning project — ready for your school year!
• Practical planning tools, real classroom examples, and strategies you can use now and all year long
• A strong CommunityShare profile, skills, and strategies to find and connect with partners confidently
• Continued support from the CommunityShare team throughout the school year • 5 hours of professional development
