In this module, participants will develop a clear understanding of the meaning of trauma-informed care, learn about resources and systems available to children and families who have experienced trauma, learn about the “ARC Framework” which is an evidence based model for trauma informed care in child care and out of school time settings and learn strategies to create trauma-informed care classrooms and decrease challenging behaviors and expulsion/exclusion. Technical assistance is available after attending this training.
