Description: Join fellow science teachers in a community where we share ideas, explore new strategies, and re-imagine how students engage with life sciences. Together we will dive into the Disciplinary Core Ideas: Reshaping Teaching and Learning of the NGSS. We will try out new practices that will spark curiosity, and learn from one another as we are reshaping teaching and learning to better connect with our students.

PD Hours:  12

Commitment Fee: $15 ASTA Members | $25 Non-Members

Disciplinary Core Ideas: Reshaping Teaching and Learning – by: Ravit Golan Duncan, Joseph Krajcik, and Ann E. Rivet. You can purchase the book from NSTA –https://my.nsta.org/resource/105601/disciplinary-core-ideas-reshaping-teaching-and-learning ($44.99 non-member)If not able to purchase a book, ASTA will provide electronic chapters needed.
