Foundations of Classroom Management

This foundational course is designed to equip emerging educators with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to develop a positive learning environment. Participants will explore various aspects of the education profession, including terminology, characteristics of professional conduct, and classroom management strategies.

Through a detailed examination, participants will develop clear and enforceable rules that promote respect, responsibility, and safety. Participants will examine the role of consequences in shaping student behavior and promoting accountability while creating and implementing consistent procedures to streamline classroom activities and maximize instructional time. By the course’s conclusion, educators will emerge equipped with practical tools and insights to navigate the complexities of classroom management with confidence and professionalism.

Course Length: 2 days, no homework
