This module describes how family engagement is a proven practice that helps to prevent expulsion and improves a child’s school readiness, reduces behavior problems, and enhances social skills. In this 2-hour module, participants will learn about the benefits of successful family engagement, discuss the difference between family involvement and family engagement, and explore strategies that support successful family engagement. Technical Assistance is available after attending this training.
