iGen and Teaching the Teenage Brain

December 11, 2023

Get ready to break down what the iGen’s (Generation Z- current high school students) are motivated by, how they learn, what are their passions, etc. Brain development is key to understanding what parts of the brain have already been developed and what parts of the brain are the most active in teenage students. By focusing on students’ learning patterns based on their generation AND brain development, teachers can plan accordingly to better assist their students AND create much needed connections.
