School administrators and instructional coaches play an important role in ensuring science teachers begin the year prepared and supported. In this 30-minute session, leaders will explore key considerations for launching strong science instruction from day one. Discussion will include how to support teacher’s understanding of the Arizona Science Standards and instructional shifts, accessing instructional materials, identifying opportunities to support teachers through professional learning. Attendees will leave with practical ideas for creating the safe conditions that help science teachers—and their students—thrive throughout the year.
