Making Sense of Multiplication and Division with KP Tiles (MMMS)

For many students, multiplication and division can feel overwhelming—but the right tools can make all the difference! In this Making Manipulatives Make Sense (MMMS) session, we’ll explore how KP Ten-Frame Tiles can provide struggling learners with the concrete experiences they need to build a strong conceptual foundation. Participants will discover practical strategies to help students visualize operations, develop number sense, and gain confidence in their mathematical thinking. Walk away with ready-to-use techniques that transform abstract concepts into meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
