Three separate evidence-based trainings are available for adults who interact with youth, other adults, or tribal communities and indigenous youth. Please view the Adult Mental Health First Aid Handout (PDF) , the Youth Mental Health First Aid Handout (PDF), or the Tribal Communities and Indigenous Peoples handout for more information. Each training provides information on how to recognize signs and symptoms of mental health or substance use challenges, offer and provide initial help, and guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Certification is valid for 3 years.
