Begin your journey to becoming a National Board Certified Teacher with a National Board Pre-Candidacy Class. As a pre-candidate, you’ll gain a firm understanding of the candidate process and be prepared to begin the journey toward becoming a National Board Certified Teacher.
In a National Board Pre-Candidacy Class, you will explore the National Board Professional Teaching Standards and Five Core Propositions of accomplished teaching. You will also have a better understanding of the documents, materials, and components set forth by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.
This four-week in person and virtual hybrid course helps participants build a system of support and be prepared to pursue National Board Certification. This is also the first step to being eligible to apply for funding from the Arizona K12 Center.
