Power Hour – April 2026 – Education and Workforce Partnerships

April 2, 2026

Join Education Forward Arizona for our April Education Power Hour as we explore the important connection between education and workforce development across the state.

As Arizona continues to attract advanced manufacturing and other high-tech industries, strong partnerships between education providers and employers are helping ensure students are prepared for the high-skill, high-wage and high-demand jobs shaping Arizona’s future economy.

We’ll be joined by Pearl Chang Esau, Founder and CEO of TechSmart Learning Fund, and John Morgan, Executive Director for Workforce, Skilled Trades and Manufacturing at Yavapai College. Together, they will share insights on the growth of advanced manufacturing and related high-tech jobs coming to Arizona, along with other emerging career opportunities across the state.

During this session, they will highlight how schools, colleges and industry leaders are working together to build talent pipelines and expand opportunities for students across Arizona. They will also share examples of existing education and industry partnerships that are helping prepare students for the jobs of the future and discuss what lies ahead as Arizona continues to evolve in this new world of work.
