Power Hour Recording December 2025 – Arizona Literacy Plan 2030

Education Forward Arizona invites you to view our December Power Hour, where we take an in-depth look at the Arizona Literacy Plan 2030. This plan outlines key drivers, proven strategies, and actions needed to improve school readiness and third-grade reading outcomes.

We’ll be joined by guest speakers Terri Clark, Arizona Literacy Director, Read On Arizona; Sean Ross, Executive Director, Arizona State Board of Education; Linda Burrows, Deputy Associate Superintendent of Academic Standards, Arizona Department of Education; Lori Masseur, Director, Early Learning, Read On Arizona; Steve King, Yavapai County School Superintendent, Yavapai County Education Service Agency; Joy Bruner, First grade teacher, DeMiguel Elementary School; and Stephanie Hall-Zurek, Dean of Academics, Imagine Schools Coolidge Elementary.

Our expert panel will share insights on what’s working, what’s ahead, and actionable steps to champion literacy in your schools and communities. Attendees will also learn how partners across the state are leading with literacy and implementing solutions that ensure every student in Arizona has the foundation to succeed.
