Authored by the dynamic duo of Stephanie Stollar and Kate Winn, this book informs and empowers frontline teachers to use effective, evidence-based assessments to screen, diagnose, and monitor their students. It demystifies assessment to help teachers improve reading outcomes for all students. When assessment is done right, teachers see the power of it because they can pinpoint student needs, target instruction, and track progress. The companion website includes download-ready scheduling and planning tools, as well as video clips featuring the authors discussing various types of assessments and their purposes.
Participants must register for each week’s session individually. All participants who register in APLD, read their chapter, and attend the book study will be given 2-hours PD credit. Certificates will be in APLD and no record of attendance will be emailed.
Link will be individually emailed to registrants on the day of the webinar. Registration closes at 12 PM the day of the professional learning session.
