Science in Action: Nogales

 Put on your student hat and experience connected sensemaking strategies for helping learners move from their initial ideas to a shared understanding of a scientific concept. Participants will investigate why shellfish numbers are dropping on the West Coast through driving question boards, group modeling, consensus discussions, and more. These ready-to-implement tools and strategies can be applied in any grade or content area!

Date: Wednesday, July 16th, 8:30AM – 4PM (1.5 hours lunch)

Location:  Historic Courthouse, 21 E. Court St., Nogales

Commitment Fee:  $35 Member; $50 Non-Member

PD Hours:  6 hours
