Put on your student hat and experience connected sensemaking strategies for helping learners move from their initial ideas to a shared understanding of a scientific concept. Participants will investigate why shellfish numbers are dropping on the West Coast through driving question boards, group modeling, consensus discussions, and more. These ready-to-implement tools and strategies can be applied in any grade or content area!
