This on-demand webinar offers a comprehensive introduction to the Arizona Science Standards adopted in 2018. This webinar is ideal for those seeking to deepen their understanding of Arizona’s vision for science education and to align their instructional practices with the standards. Participants will:

  • Distinguish between standards, curriculum, and instruction.
  • Identify key instructional shifts embedded in the Arizona Science Standards.
  • Define three-dimensional science instruction and examine its core components.
  • Explore the structure and organization of the Arizona Science Standards.
  • Analyze the progression of Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs), Crosscutting Concepts (CCCs), and Core Ideas (CIs) across grade levels.
