Sensory Processing: Preventing Expulsion through Increased Understanding of Sensory Processing and Child Development

This module will focus on supporting participants in understanding the unique sensory needs of children as a whole and individually. It will involve self-reflection and awareness, the continuum of typical sensory processing, and signs and resources for children who may need more support. This module supports reducing/preventing expulsion by helping providers recognize behavior as communication of unmet needs.
