For Grade K-5 Educators, Open to All
Join us to learn how you can integrate economic concepts into STEM lessons to create rich, multidisciplinary learning experiences. Your students will discover fascinating inventors and inventions through lessons that are grounded in children’s literature. K-5 classroom teachers in attendance will receive a complimentary book of their choice!
Instructor: Lisa Taylor is a full-time fifth grade teacher and a mother of two very active daughters. She is a National Board Certified Teacher, Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and is currently working on her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on STEM. Lisa loves creating engaging lessons that make even the most disengaged student have fun learning.
