*This is a two-day professional learning experience and participants are expected to attend both days in their entirety. Certificates for partial attendance or partial PD hours will not be issued.
Description: Join ADE and Paul Andersen for a two-day workshop that immerses K–12 teachers in the power of coherent science storylines to support three-dimensional learning. Participants will experience a storyline firsthand, using Science and Engineering Practices and Crosscutting Concepts to investigate authentic phenomena and track learning over time. Building on that experience, teachers will design formative performance assessments and instructional supports that help all students make sense of phenomena. Leave with practical, classroom-ready tools for immediate implementation.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided both days
*Please be sure any dietary restrictions are updated on your APLD account (go to ‘Edit Account’ to modify dietary requirements)
