Learn skills to decrease stressful moments and crisis survival: using the five senses, use of imagery, the skill of A.C.C.E.P.T.S., and T.I.P. Learn to get through the tunnel to a calmer state to be able to think logically about problems before acting.
Designed for teachers and school staff. Mindfulness draws the brain’s focus to the present moment in an attempt to slow down life and achieve inner peace. Practicing Mindfulness skills can help achieve a balance. It is about paying attention to the current moment, without judgment. This can lead to decreased anxiety, depression, and stress.
