October 28, 2024

Participants will deepen their understanding of student identity, prioritizing inclusivity for LGBTQ+ individuals, those affected by economic challenges, and students from diverse cultural backgrounds. This session is identified for educators, counselors, and school leaders at any grade level, equipping them to recognize and address implicit biases and stereotypes to deepen their empathy and understanding of students’ experiences in the classroom and across the school campus. Through the exploration of inclusive curricula, classroom materials, case study analyses, and effective teaching strategies, participants will be empowered to support both the socio-emotional and academic growth of all students.
