Join us for an engaging, in-person professional development workshop that explores how biography can be taught through high-quality East Asian picturebooks. Educators will examine six carefully selected titles that highlight the lives of fascinating historical and contemporary figures from China, Japan, and Korea.
Through expert-led presentations and hands-on discussion, participants will gain practical strategies for integrating social studies and literacy instruction while strengthening students’ written and visual literacy skills.
