“Saving the Day: Using Children’s Literature to Teach Human Capital, Public Goods, and Costs & Benefits” is a teaching unit containing lessons developed by three award-winning economic educators. Each lesson connects to the book Saving the Day: Garrett Morgan’s Life-Saving Invention of the Traffic Signal and focuses on a different economic concept and supports state and national standards of learning.
Current K-5 classroom teachers will receive a complimentary copy of the featured text.
