Participants will develop a basic and shared understanding of attachment, the importance of relationships in early childhood and how trauma affects relationships. The training looks at how trauma can affect brain development and how that can create challenging behaviors. Participants will have an increased awareness of how relationships with caregivers can help children feel safe and heal from trauma and decrease challenging behaviors and risk of classroom expulsion/exclusion. Technical assistance is available after attendance in this training.
