The Power of Games in Middle School Math Grades 5-9 (IMPACTS-MS)

December 14, 2024

Though regularly used in elementary school, games are often overlooked and underutilized in middle school math. Not only do they promote student engagement, but they also provide opportunities for discourse, argumentation, in-context practice, and development of new ideas. Come join us for a fun-filled session to see the power of games for both instruction and assessment in the middle grades.

**NOTE: Participants will be expected to take a task back to their classrooms, collect and analyze student work, and share their reflections with the CRR.
