Participants will explore biting behavior and how biting behavior is connected to Expulsion. There will be a discussion about potential unmet needs that can lead infants and toddlers to engage in biting behaviors and strategies to meet these unmet needs will be identified. Participants will learn a couple intervention approaches that can be used after a young child bites and classroom strategies to prevent biting behaviors. There will be a brief discussion about when more support may be needed because biting behavior is atypical.
