Live Stream of Keynote Speakers for the 2023 TREC June Summit
TREC is thrilled to present the keynote speakers for the 2023 June Summit. This year we welcome both the 2022 National Teacher of the Year, Kurt Russell, and Arizona’s Top 10 Teacher of the Year, Jaime Camero.
This Livestream will first play on Saturday, June 3rd at 8:30am-9:45am.
Kurt Russell, 2022 National Teacher of the Year
A 25-year veteran of the classroom, Kurt Russell teaches history at Oberlin High School in Oberlin, Ohio, where he was born and raised. Kurt is the head coach for the school’s varsity basketball team and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in history and a minor in Black studies from the College of Wooster and a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction from Ashland University. Jaime Camero, NBCT
Jaime is a Top 10 Arizona Teacher of the Year, a Raytheon Leaders in Education Award Recipient, and a TREC Teacher Leader! She is a 6th grade science teacher at Douglas Elementary in the Flowing Wells School District.
