What Do We Wonder: In School STEM Student Workshop

What Do We Wonder is a four-session curriculum led by a SARSEF educator who facilitates hands-on learning with a class to practice noticing and wondering, forming a testable question, collecting and analyzing data, and engineering a solution. WDWW is designed with the student at the center as they engage with the best science and engineering practices through hands-on experiment design, data collection and scientific communication around a real-world relevant problem to the students. All materials are provided by SARSEF and curriculum content is grounded in Arizona Science Standards. As the classroom teacher you will observe how SARSEF begins an authentic research project. At the conclusion on the four sessions you can decide to complete the started project and submit it to SARSEF Fair, or take the framework and ideas students generated to create an original Fair submission.
