Education and society have changed dramatically, and students need to learn more than just knowledge in order to succeed. Our goal for these sessions is to provide perspectives and tools to use in planning your lessons through the lens of the AZ Ed Tech standards, so that you can infuse them into lessons to teach not only content but to better prepare your students for their lives as digital citizens. Our hope is to be a resource for educators in AZ, supporting students to use technology to engage more deeply with material, to develop solutions to problems that require technology, to integrate technology seamlessly into their own learning.
You may already be teaching in a way that builds these skills! But these standards are a thorough, vetted way to reflect on our lessons, to ensure we’re supporting this development for students as best as possible.
