Spend your spring break in the beautiful outdoors and join Pima County Environmental Educators as we discover the power of nature journaling in education! This free half-day workshop will offer educators experience with nature journaling and provide classroom-ready tools and resources to support their student’s curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and connection to the natural world.
Workshop participants will learn about the cognitive and social emotional benefits nature journaling can offer their students, gain hands-on nature journaling experience with a local artist, and walk away with the implementation strategies and curriculum resources to use across grade levels and subjects.
